There are so many thanks to go around! For starters, thank you to everyone in attendance at #hcsneakerball II making part 2 an overwhelming success; we had an amazing time celebrating with you!
Our goals for the evening were two-fold:
1. Support local school-aged youth in need by donating over 500 pairs of shoes to students of Hattiesburg Public Schools - We’ve raised over 1,300 and counting, led by a huge donation from Channel Control Merchants (Treasure Hunt, Dirt Cheap, Dirt Cheap Building Supply)!
2. Raise mental health awareness in Black and African American communities by donating $2000 to state and local non-profit organization, NAMI Mississippi and NAMI Pine Belt of the National Alliance on Mental Illness - We’ve raised over $2,000!
Thank you for helping us exceed our goals! It doesn’t stop here, The Boujee Boss Pop-up Market inside Turtle Creek Mall will be taking shoe donations all summer long until our back-to-school give-back event! You can also give digitally to our community focus on mental health here on our website under Give Back!

Hub City Sneaker Ball is a give back occasion centered on experience over things, giving over receiving. Our purpose is to involve professionals across South Mississippi in an experience that allows everyone the opportunity to have an impact on our community.
We encourage all attendees to bring a pair of new or gently worn shoes to be donated to local organizations serving school-aged youth up to 18 years of age in need.
Hub City Sneaker Ball will occur annually to ensure that each time we celebrate, we immediately impact children, improving self-esteem and confidence in the classroom through philanthropy.
Concurrently, Hub City Sneaker Ball will choose a specific community impact focus. This year our community impact focus pivots towards Black and African American Mental Health and nonprofit organizations dedicated to bring awareness to mental health within Black communities. #HCSB
Our goals for the evening are two-fold:
1. Support local school-aged youth in need by donating over 500 pairs of shoes provided by our guests and supporters, exceeding the amount we gave to Hattiesburg Public Schools and Lamar County School District last year.
2. Raise mental health awareness in Black and African American communities by donating $2000 of event proceeds to a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing mental health education and awareness in underserved Pine Belt Communities.
